- Island Prvić
Prvić is an island in the Šibenik archipelago, near Vodice. The area of the island is 2.41 km
There are two typical Dalmatian fishing villages on the island: Prvić Luka and Šepurine. They are connected by a one kilometer long road. Šepurine is located in the western part of the island, and Prvić Luka is located in the southeastern part of the island.
The island has been inhabited since ancient times.
The island of Prvić is a natural continuation of the island of Zlarin, as evidenced by numerous underwater shoals and the Raženik reef and the islet of Lupac.
Interestingly, this island is not built of limestone like other islands, but of Cretaceous dolomites. Picturesque bays and coves attract bathers who seek solitude and peace in the beauty of nature
Both settlements on the island are protected by the Croatian Ministry of Culture as a national cultural heritage
From Pirovac there are organized trips to this island, and we can give you all the additional instructions.
